Wiedza o autyzmie u polskich adeptów psychologii

Podstawowym warunkiem adekwatnej diagnozy oraz właściwego procesu leczenia i nauczania dzieci z autyzmem oraz wspierania rodziny jest odpowiedni poziom wiedzy profesjonalistów na temat autyzmu. Badania na temat wiedzy o autyzmie prowadzone są w różnych grupach zawodowych w wielu krajach świata, lecz tylko nieliczne dotyczą przyszłych psychologów, a żadne nie obejmują studentów farmacji. Celem prezentowanych badań było więc uzupełnienie tego braku. W badaniu realizowanym przy użycia Kwestionariusza wiedzy o autyzmie Janikowskiej i Rychlewskiej wzięło udział 80 studentów (40 studentów psychologii i 40 studentów farmacji). Wyniki potwierdziły częściowe postawione na wstępie dwie hipotezy: 1. Studenci psychologii charakteryzują się lepszą znajomości symptomów autyzmu i form terapii w porównaniu ze studentami farmacji natomiast 2. niższą wiedzą na temat czynników etiologicznych i chorób współistniejących.Bibliografia
