Nieuchwytne granice człowieczeństwa. Wokół badań nad antropomorfizacją i infrahumanizacją

Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje różne podejścia teoretyczne i metodologiczne we współczesnych badaniach nad antropomorfizacją, dehumanizacją i infrahumanizacją. W badaniach tych człowieczeństwo definiowane jest najczęściej na sposób esencjalistyczny, w kategorii uniwersalnego zestawu cech, których przypisywanie wiąże się z antropomorfizacją, odmawianie zaś z dehumanizacją. Przedstawiając wyniki dotychczasowych badań, w artykule ukazuje się pomijane w nich aspekty człowieczeństwa, a także alternatywne do esencjalistycznego, indywidualistyczne podejście do problematyki nadawania oraz odbierania różnym obiektom statusu człowieka.Bibliografia
